I do not know, I cannot see
How Jesus Christ could die for me,
But this I know: I feel within
The Son of God paid for my sin.
Why should He do so much for me?
Was it a new-born Soul to win?
And would He do the same for you?
In my own heart I feel 'tis true.
Before you ask, the price is paid;
On the pure lamb the sin is laid.
He's slain to pay the price for you;
How great a gift God's love has made!
