Ruth Jean Taber was born the 18th. of January, 1893, and wrote most of her poetry in the 1930-1945 period, while married to Nathan Mills Whittlesey.
Ruth was an active member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and of the Society of Friends (Quaker church).
Ruth and Nathan are intered at North San Juan California.
